We are delighted to announce Anna Hints, the director of the acclaimed Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, will be attending the LBFF opening event on 1st December and will be discussing the film during the Q&A.

Anna Hints is an Estonian film director with a background in contemporary art and experimental folk music. Anna has deep roots in the distinct culture of South Estonia.

Her first feature length film Smoke Sauna Sisterhood premiered at the Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Documentary Competition in January 2023 and received the Directing Award. Since then, the film has seen success across the globe at festivals, has received multiple awards and nominations, and is Estonia’s official entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards®.
