Kingpins is coming to LBFF!

We’re excited to announce Kingpins (Visiem vajag naudu), as the latest addition to this year’s programme.

When struggling actress Paula and her boyfriend Kaspars fall deep into debt, she hatches a plan to rob the bowling alley where she works. But on the night of the heist, nothing goes to plan — and Paula soon finds herself the prime suspect in a witch hunt led by her paranoid boss.

Locked inside the bowling alley with her scheming co-workers, she’ll have to give the performance of a lifetime to prove her innocence and uncover the real thief.

Kingpins is the directorial debut of Kristians Riekstins. The script won the Script Pool Award at Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event 2024, and the film was selected for Works in Progress at Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event 2025.
