London, get ready for the Estonian New Wave!

We’re excited to announce Rolling Papers (Pikad paberid), a youth comedy-drama, as the first film from Estonia screening at this year’s LBFF.

The film explores the lives of young adults, united by their uncertainty about the future and a shared longing for a purposeful existence.It premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, has won multiple awards, including Just Film 2024 - Audience Award winner & Film of the year 2024 - Cultural Endowment of Estonia.

It is Estonia's official selection for the 2026 Academy Awards in the International Feature category.
